Growing Gospel Leaders
If we want to see flourishing churches we need leaders who love God and share his passions.
From Egypt to Ethiopia and Madagascar to the Middle East, we are partnering with local ministries to provide all-round support for ministry and church growth. In the stories that follow, you will see Union’s ministry ecosystem in action: partners connecting with us through one area of the ministry are encouraged to make use of other resources we can offer them.
Theological books and content often pave the way for conferences and events, support for book translations into low-access languages, and theological training. Our students have access to financial resources for church planting, and we offer mentoring to budding pastor-theologians who will serve the church with sound theology in the next generation.
Through this strategic model, we are seeing leaders raised, churches planted and ministries flourishing around the world.
Union’s supporting ecosystem model
CASE STUDY
Madagascar
We’ve already begun to see this model in action in Madagascar, where we’ve partnered with 3M Ministries to launch a Learning Community and provide training for local pastors. We have provided scholarships to students on our GDip program, and have gifted Union Grow subscriptions to help pastors grow in their theological understanding and love of God.
We are also translating Union Publishing books into French, and are working towards a conference in 2026 and resourcing mission and evangelism across the island.
The future
We’ve identified two more strategic locations where we can provide this same level of all-round support over the next few years: Rome and London.
We want to support our long-term partners in both of these key European cities with their ongoing church planting, theological training and resourcing by bringing the full Union model to them, and enabling them to extend their reach throughout their areas to bring the gospel to more people and raise up leaders to serve the growing Church.
